You can use a portion on your ship, but these will sell for a lot of credits. In each tower you will find around 160 power units, making it a total of around 640 power units you can take. Don't forget to take the power units in the black towers. Make sure to get the glass, lots of the hull and the lights. Once you have about 80 (you may want mine some minerals and sell them to finance some more salavage cannons), find an abandoned station (!!Not a pirate one!!) and start salvaging it. Remember that salvage cannons in a line will work better than just one and with others side by side. Want millions of credits really quickly? First you will need to aquire lots of salvage cannons and a salvage computer. Place your weapons, jump in the core again by pressing space bar to enter Flight Mode, and you're off! However, be warned! You will not want to tangle with pirates (just yet)! The weapons you place from here will be automatically linked to it. Then you should place a weapons computer. The more engines you have, the faster you will drain energy. A good way to begin is to first place some power generators and then thrusters directly behind them. You may now highlight objects in your inventory and place them onto your ship. Next tap "Space Bar" to go into build mode. Make sure that the other person is aware that you are repairing them to avoid misunderstandings. In multiplayer you can also repair other ships by 'shooting' the AstroTechnobeam at the damaged parts of that ship. If you place multiple beams adjacent to eachother, they will get a longer range, high power consumption, faster and stronger repairing abilities. You place a AstroTechnican in your ship and link the AstroTechnobeams to this computer. They function the same way as weapon systems in the game. You can only aquire the AstroTechnobeam by buying them from the shop. They will repair ANY damaged blocks, that includes weapon systems, computers and your core. After a battle, simply fly out with your repair ship and fix your main ship. A great way of using these is by placing them on a small ship which you dock in your main ship. These beams will fire a straight laser which will repair damaged blocks on a ship. ![]() The AstroTechnobeam is a repair tool which you can use to repair other ships.
